Travel Diary: Bastei, Germany
Before or after visiting Dresden, (my travel diary from this city you can find here) I would strongly recommend to visit Bastei. "The Bastei is a rock formation towering 194 metres above the Elbe River in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains of Germany. Reaching a height of 305 metres above sea level, the jagged rocks of the Bastei were formed by water erosion over one million years ago. They are situated near Rathen, not far from Pirna southeast of the city of Dresden and are the major landmark of the Saxon Switzerland National Park." < Wikipedia>
If you are a huge nature lover like me, than you will love this magical place! Every time I see such a perfection I feel so small and blessed at the same time, because I can be a part of this nature spectacle. I could hike there for hours and I think I still couldn't get enough of this beauty...
